We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

If you have any doubts about the size of the painting, we offer an accurate representation of the artwork on your wall. Just send us a picture of your desired wall, and which artwork you would like to see, to support@julialawall.com.

Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We highly recommend that you retain the original box and protective plastic packaging upon receipt. Reusing these materials will help ensure the artwork is well-protected when returned.

To initiate a return, please contact us at support@julialawall.com. If your return request is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package.

Please note: Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for their own return shipping. We recommend using a shipping service with tracking and insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds for Returns:

Once we receive and inspect your returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. If approved, you will have two flexible options for your refund:

  • Option 1: Refund to Original Payment Method
    You will receive a full refund for the product price, minus the original shipping charges. The refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
  • Option 2: Store Credit (Recommended for Extra Value!)
    Choose to receive 110% of the product's value as store credit. This means you get an additional 10% on top of your original purchase price to spend on any future artworks in our shop! Please note that the original shipping charges are non-refundable even when opting for store credit.

Please be aware that the cost of return postage may be higher than the original shipping fee you paid. This is because our outbound shipping rates are often subsidized.

Order Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our bespoke production process.

Cancellations within 24 Hours:

Cancellation requests for orders will be accepted if submitted within the first 24 hours following the order placement. If a cancellation request is made within this timeframe, the order will be canceled, and the payment will be refunded in full. No costs are incurred by either party, and we part as friends!

Cancellations after 24 Hours:

If a cancellation request is submitted more than 24 hours after the order placement, the production process for your custom artwork will have typically begun, incurring non-recoverable costs and resources.

For cancellations requested between 24 and 48 hours of placing your order (and provided the artwork has not yet shipped):
To accommodate your request while reflecting the costs incurred on our end, we will issue a store credit equivalent to 100% of the product's value. Please note that the original shipping fee is non-refundable, as these costs are allocated once production begins. This store credit can be used towards any future purchase in our shop.

Once Your Artwork Has Been Shipped:

Cancellations are no longer possible as the item is already in transit. In such cases, if you wish to return the item upon receipt, please refer to our Returns Policy for details on our 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

Unclaimed and Unsuccessful Deliveries

Unsuccessful Delivery and Redelivery:

If your package is returned to us due to reasons within your control (e.g., incorrect address provided, recipient unavailability, refusal to accept delivery), we will contact you to arrange a redelivery. Please be aware that a Redelivery and Handling Fee will apply to cover the costs associated with reprocessing and reshipping your order. This fee comprises:

  • A Handling and Storage Fee: EUR 50, covering administrative and holding costs incurred during the package's return and retention.
  • An Additional Shipping Fee: This covers the cost of reshipping your package to you.

We will contact you to arrange payment for these fees and reschedule your delivery. Please ensure your delivery details are accurate to avoid these charges.

Forfeiture of Payment for Undeliverable Packages:

If your package is returned to us due to repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, an incorrect address, recipient unavailability, or other reasons where the delivery failure is attributable to the customer or recipient, and you choose not to pay the above-mentioned Redelivery and Handling Fee:

  • Your original payment for the order will be forfeited. We regret that we cannot provide a full refund in this situation, as we have fulfilled our responsibility to produce and ship the personalized product as per your initial order, incurring significant costs.
  • However, as a gesture of goodwill and at our sole discretion, we may offer a partial store credit for up to 30% of the product's value (excluding original shipping costs and any incurred Redelivery and Handling Fees). This aims to provide some value back to you, even if the item cannot be fully recovered or resold.
